Recap - July Monthly Meeting

Hello D20 Community, 

CEC 20 held its first monthly meeting with our new council last night at the District 20 Office! A big thank you to everyone who joined our meeting, whether you were with us in person or online! Superintendent Report

Dr. David Pretto's report included an update on his work on a District 20 specific vision and mission statement, development of culture plans for bullying, increasing student performances in reading and math, language access for parents, and most notable is the change in state law regarding cell phone. A new law from Governer Kathy Hochul will require all schools to ban cell phone, Dr. Pretto held discussions with the council regarding this new rule and its impact in District 20.
