Recap - April Monthly Meeting

Hello D20 Community,


CEC 20 held its monthly meeting last night at M.S. 407 School of Technology Arts and Research! Thank you very much to the staff and Principal Lombardo who were very helpful and happy to host our meeting. Presentation from School Construction Authority

Steve Gonzalez, Development and External Affairs, from the School Construction Authority presented the proposed new primary school site on New Utrecht Ave in District 20. Superintendent Report

Dr. Pretto presented on the Civics For All Partnership alongside Tracy McCarthy Norr, District Achievement and Instructional Specialist, who coordinates Civics for All in District 20. The community was also updated on the progress towards the superintendent program in regards to social studies. Student finalist from P.S. 164 and J.H.S. 259 shared their essays from of Soapbox NYC.


President Announcement

President Stephen Stowe reminded the community of CEC Elections. Voting begins on April 25th and is done through NYC Schools Account.
