Hello!
The NYC Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes (OPHC) has launched a Youth Ambassador Leadership Program - a citywide initiative designed to empower students ages 8–18 to become leaders of inclusion, equity, and respect in their schools and communities.
This unique opportunity gives students the chance to:
Participate in quarterly leadership workshops on advocacy, communication, restorative justice, and hate prevention.
Design and lead their own school and community projects that uplift voices and promote respect.
Receive mentorship and guidance from OPHC staff, alumni, and guest city leaders.
Engage directly with elected officials, educators, and community organizations working to prevent hate and bias.
Present their work at the Youth Leadership Summit, celebrating their growth and impact across NYC.
Applications are now open: Youth Ambassador Leadership Program Application
We encourage you to share this announcement widely with your communities, youth and families so that they don’t miss the opportunity to become part of this citywide movement for inclusion and respect.
