Hello Parent leaders,

District 20 in collaboration with the Office of Multilingual Learners Brooklyn South Division is hosting a Bilingual Education Fair on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 3-6PM at IS 220 Pershing. 

The Fair will showcase Bilingual and Dual Language Programs at our Middle Schools. Families will have the opportunity to participate in workshops like " Know your Rights in Bilingual Education", "Benefits of Bilingualism", and "Seal of Biliteracy". Community Based Organizations will be present to share their resources. 

Please distribute the flyers to the families of students in your bilingual/dual language program. We are focusing on the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade parents to spread the information about our dual language programs in Middle Schools.

We will share how your child can continue their multilingual journey in middle school as they grow biliterally.
