Superintendent Evaluation Process Resolution
This resolution calls upon the Legislature of the State of New York to amend Section 2590-E, subsection 15, in order to make changes to the Community Superintendent evaluation process. These amendments should be done in such a way to increase CEC input thereby enhancing transparency, trust, accountability and governance.

Sibling Preference Resolution
Advocating for students and their parents, this resolution strongly recommends the DOE immediately revise its Sibling Priority policy (before Mar 1) and either extend sibling preference to the brothers and sisters of 6th graders and 7th graders, regardless of the older child’s admissions method or there should be NO sibling preference beyond a possible adjustment for siblings born on the same day (i.e., twins, triplets, etc.).

High School Admissions Resolution
Opposing the currently proposed admission process for screened high schools, this resolution requests that all of the Specialized High Schools admit the maximum number of students possible for the 2022-23 admissions cycle and that the DOE establishes a wait list for Specialized High Schools that expires in October, after the final enrollment numbers are due.
